The amount of carbon dioxide emitted by iron and steel industry is accounted for 14% of the total amount of carbon dioxide emissions in Japan.
Metz has specialized in a wide range of recycled materials besides the coolant business.

Metz also provides consulting services for planning and maintenance of facilities for coolant manufacturing.

Recycling the limited resources adopting our unique technology consistently contributes to protect the Blue Earth.

Metz has been making significant progress to strengthen battery supply chain for the prospective goal of the carbon neutral society.

The "BASC" (the Battery Supply Chain Council) founded on the 1st of April, 2021 as a general incorporated association dedicates to establishing the international standardization of the battery supply chain and battery ecosystem, aiming to realize a carbon neutral society.

Metz aggressively works to contribute to achieve this goal together with the members of the BASC sharing the same mind.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by the United Nations in September 2015 as universal goals for taking actions to achieve sustainable and prosperous world by the year of 2030 as stated in the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Deveolopent".
